Allan Meyer I had started paying attention to cars in general in 1970, when everyone I knew was buying a car. These ranged from a 1970-and-a-half Camaro to a 1971 VW 411, to a Fiat 850. All pathetic cars compared to most Citroëns, whether DS, SM or Méhari. I had learned to recognize the D series first because there were so many of them around my Burbank (CA) neighborhood, where people were not afraid to own Subaru 360s or Fiat Multiplas. There was a chance to drag home a derelict D model from a behind a building near Burbank Blvd. at San Fernando, but that's another story... |

Alan VanEss new member, Aug.2003. I've been interested in Citroens since my childhood/teen years in the 1960's. Owning a DS or CX is long overdue. I'm looking now for my Citroen (August 2003). I live in Moraga, near SanFrancisco, CA.
